After complications with Tootsie’s delivery we took her into the ER where she undergone a C-section. While on the table Tootsie passed away- they were able to bring her back and she lived for about 5 hours before passing away. To say we were devastated would be an understatement. I worked my butt off to keep her 7 babies alive and I happily have 6 healthy happy babies remaining. It was a labor of love & dedication to hand raise 6 babies from birth. It was absolutely the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my career. I have hand raised many babies, but not a litter of this size from start to finish. I am now finally ready to let them find their very own homes now. These babies were raised on my counter in a laundry basket for 4 weeks and then in a play pen for 3 weeks and then finally graduated to the big nursery. One of them has went to his forever home already with a past puppy family of ours! So we’re excited to see the rest of our babies fly the coop.
